  • The Importance of Retainers

    Retention is the most critical part of maintaining your newly aligned teeth. After braces or aligners, the tissues and ligaments that hold your teeth in place need time to adjust to their new positions. Without support, teeth may begin to shift back to their original alignment. To prevent this, you’ll be fitted with a retainer at the same appointment when your braces are removed. Our team will provide detailed instructions on how to wear and care for your retainer to ensure your smile remains in place as your mouth adapts to the new alignment.

  • Addressing Cosmetic Concerns

    In some cases, additional care may be needed to enhance your smile further. Patients who struggle with oral hygiene during treatment may notice decalcification, which appears as white spots on the teeth. White spots are totally avoidable with good oral hygiene. However, if they do occur, we have a special fluoride toothpaste in our office to help correct them.
